Job Description:

• Responsible in delivering quality, well-tested software towards production
• Responsible for automating test tool development and improvement, creating & executing automated or manual test cases and analyzing test results
• Creating/ designing tests, test plans, test procedures according to the project requirements, schedules
• Addressing complex test issues
• Developing/ implementing new tools to aid in testing, analysis and problem solving, if necessary to
• Performing complex testing, quantitative technical analysis as well as complex root cause analysis
• Driving test projects to completion in a timely manner and complete process improvement and automation projects
• Designing, developing and improving the collection of test data and results
• Improving the storage and retrieval of parametric data used for testing purposes
• Recommending solutions/ more efficient methods that help improving the documentation, processes, and overall performance and reliability of the products
• Maintaining accurate and reliable records of tested projects (i.e. test plans, data, analysis, engineering communications, final summary reports, etc.)
• Coaching/ guiding junior staff on the application of appropriate standard and specialized testing methods at different stages of the design and development processes (only for senior-level engineers)
• Any other related tasks being assigned.
