Job Description:

We invite highly motivated professionals with mechanical engineering background to join our team as Mechanical Engineer

Key Job Responsibilities

• Review project and technical clarifications and assembly instructions by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing the technical studies, determining time requirements; sequencing project elements within project schedule.
• Provide engineering design, apply comprehensive and diverse knowledge of engineering principles to the proposed design and initiate process improvement solutions to production, conforming to customers’ design requirements.
• Check and review technical design and assembly drawings created by designers and drafters
• Create engineering documents, reports, procedures, data sheets etc. and perform structure calculation.
• Responsible to ensure mechanical design meets the product requirements and project scopes and able to deliver all the product lifecycle deliverables as per the committed plan.
• Managing project to ensure timely delivery of projects when appointed as Project-In-Charge
• Provide engineering support in resolving production challenges (including quality, on-time delivery and technical challenges) to achieve total customer satisfaction.
• Provides advice to technical team to resolve operational issues that are causing equipment failures.
• Prepare progress report and project handover report

Job Requirements

The applicant should possess:

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Preferred. Will consider qualification from other disciplines: Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Preferably 3-5 years of industrial experience in mechanical equipment design in Singapore
• Able to read and alter mechanical engineering drawing
• Possess knowledge in hydraulic or Aerial lifting mechanism would be an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office & In Depth knowledge in CAD software & Solidworks
• Must be able to start immediately/ within short notice

• Possess Good project planning and management skills. Possess Good project planning and management skills. Must be competent and accurate in measurement. Good Team Player and proven initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Experience:

• Mechanical Engineering: 3 years (Preferred)
