Description:

• Produce drawings, using computer-assisted drafting systems (CAD) or drafting machines, or by hand, using compasses, dividers, protractors, triangles, and other drafting devices.
• Draft plans and detailed drawings for structures, installations, and construction projects.
• Review rough sketches, drawings, specifications, and other engineering data received from civil engineers to ensure that they conform to design concepts
• Create shop drawings based on client given information,specifications, calculations and drawing to incorporating all details of shopdrawings
• Determine quality, cost, strength, and quantity of required materials, and enter figures on materials lists.
• Required to maintain all drawing files, update drawings as needed,and make corrections to drawings as directed by the Section Head / Leads
• Calculate weights, volumes, and stress factors and their implications for technical aspects of designs
• Coordination of Drawings with Clients / Main Contractors and updating of drawings base on Meetings and discussion and in compliaance to Regualtion Codes and Practices.
• Explain drawings to Production or construction teams and provide adjustments as necessary
• Clarify and solve problems raised by production
• Provide technical support for project management
• Coordinate with team members and other discipline
• Supervise and train other technologists, technicians, and drafters.
